ETA addition to online system
WE have taken a major step forward with our PTS Online booking system with users now able to access an expected time of arrival.
As well as being able to book transport and access journey information users are able to see the time our crews are due to arrive to pick up a patient.
Rob Sykes, Infrastructure and Performance Manager, said: “The new version of PTS Online has been extremely well received. It has worked very well for a number of months and the decision has now been made to make this a permanent addition.”
Not only does this upgrade allow healthcare professionals to keep patients updated on the status of their transport it also reduces the need for them to contact our call centre.
Rob said: “The PTS Online system is easy to use and saves our healthcare colleagues time because they don’t need to contact our call centre.
“For example you can book a patient ready in a matter of seconds so it really is the easiest and most efficient way to communicate with us.”
