Nick appointed to lead ATSL Control and Planning

ARRIVA Transport Solutions (ATSL) is delighted to announce that Nick Rundle has been appointed to lead the company’s Control and Planning function.

Nick, who began his career as a Call Taker with Ambuline before progressing to become a Senior Analyst with ATSL, started his new position as Senior Operations Manager, Fulfilment on February 12, providing leadership across the company’s Call Centre, Planning, Dispatch and Resource Management functions.

Managing Director Ed Potter said: “I am pleased to be able to welcome Nick into this critical role.

“Nick has a long and successful track record in our business and there are few people who have a better understanding of the mechanics behind our operation.

“Nick has spoken to me about his passion for improvement and his excitement for this new, high profile leadership role. I have every confidence in him as he takes this new step in his career with us.”

Nick will be responsible for ensuring best practice is followed across all regions, in particular focussing on increasing standards across call taking and dispatch functions ensuring patients and healthcare professionals receive the highest quality service.

He will also bridge the line of communication between control and operational functions and ensure internal and external resources are utilised in an efficient and responsible manner.
