Voluntary Car Service Driver
Patient transport is an integral part of the community, providing a vital service for people who are often vulnerable and not able to make their own way to hospital.
As an organisation we pride ourselves on our community work and we know there are many selfless and caring people within these communities who share our values.
If you are one of those people and you are looking for a way to support your community then you can become a Volunteer Car Service Driver and ensure patients receive the care and treatment they need.
As a Volunteer Driver you will meet many inspiring individuals with fascinating stories to tell about their life. A short car journey to hospital is a lifeline for our patients as well as being a highly rewarding and interesting experience for you.
Volunteer drivers use their own vehicles to transport patients and receive a vehicle mileage rate.
Our Volunteer Drivers join our organisation because they want to make a difference in their community and we will give you all the training and support you need to do so.
